Services

Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy

Resolve is a specialized outpatient practice focusing on trauma, substance abuse and other mental health issues that are often at the root of emotional dysregulation, self-harm, addiction, and other maladaptive behaviors. It is our belief that, for effective and sustainable resolution, these issues must be treated as a whole. We understand that stabilizing unhealthy behaviors does not resolve mental health and stabilizing mental health does not always resolve unhealthy behaviors. For that reason, it is important that our clinicians are specialists themselves and are able to take a multi-faceted approach to treating these multi-faceted issues. This requires advanced education, training beyond other clinicians, and ongoing personal development work.

With a specialized staff, we're able to offer services based on each individual's needs. Some clients may only need support through education and early intervention, while others are navigating more complex mental health concerns, attachment wounding, Complex PTSD (CPTSD), or chemical dependency. While substance use disorders are a specialty, Resolve's focus does not stop there- we see substance abuse and other addictive behaviors as indicators of deeper emotional struggles: attempts to numb pain or pursue pleasure. That is why we have built a strong foundation in understanding and treating both straightforward and complex mental health issues; particularly unresolved trauma, which is so often the root causes. You do not need to be struggling with substance abuse to benefit from our services.

We focus the first few sessions on getting know each person, their history, and unique needs, to gather a comprehensive understanding that will guide and inform putting together an individualized treatment plan. It is important for us to take into account the whole person- biological, psychological, social, and spiritual. Additionally, we are acutely aware that we are social beings and do not exist in a vacuum, the systems around each person are highly influential and are just as important to include in the treatment process.
